Following a sequence of three comeback stages on Music Bank, Music Core, and Inkigayo last week, Super Juniorperformed their final comeback stage this week on M! Countdown. They performed “A-Cha” on Music Bank, then celebrated Huh Gak’s win that night by ceremoniously lifting him up. The next night on Music Core, Yesung, Eunhyuk, and Shindong performed what was originally Heechul’s part in a duet of “Breakups Are So Typical Of Me” with Kim Janghoon. The whole group came together to perform “A-Cha” at the end of Music Core, and on the next night’s Inkigayo as well. Super Junior performed “Oops!” on KBS 2TV’s “Yoo Heeyeol’s Sketchbook”, featuring SNSD’s Tiffany performing f(x)’s part.
Two dance versions of “A-Cha” were uploaded to SMTOWN’s Youtube page, with the first featuring a unique “shaky” camera technique and the second having a camera technique that zooms in and out on the group. Super Junior alsomade the front page of YouTube with their “A-Cha” music video original version. The members hinted about joining “We Got Married” through a teaser video.
Heechul has fulfilled his month of military training and is now serving as a public service worker. After his departure,one more photo was released of Heechul in uniform, adding to the collection of the many photos that were released previously. The widely-known “Big Space Star” gave out a final interview before leaving the training center. Heechul seems to have left another tidbit behind before departing for army services, as it was announced that he had a part in producing Orange Caramel’s new song, “Shanghai Love.”
Shindong’s birthday passed by this week, and the Super Junior members commemorated his special day by jokingly smearing cake on his face. Kangin, who joined the military almost two whole years ago, has attained the title of “Army Corporal” as seen in a recently released picture.
Donghae, the Twitter enthusiast, uploaded a selca to Twitter that incited laughter from followers. Leeteuk has beenannounced to be the new co-host for “Star King” along with Boom, in replacement of the temporarily retired Kang Hodong. He expressed his thoughts on his new position through Twitter.
Lastly, Super Junior announced their first world tour that will include Asian, American, and European dates in the lineup.
