Upcoming KBS drama, “President” will begin broadcasting on December 8th. The drama will hold Wednesday and Thursday broadcast spots, and is directed by Kim Hyeong-il (김형일) and written by Son Yeong-mok (손영목). Super Junior’s Lee Sungmin was recently casted as the son of the main character.
Choi Su-jong will play the main character, Jang Il-joon. The story will follow Jang Il-joon as he runs for the 18th presidential office in the 2012 election. Il-joon grew up normally, and graduated as a law student. He then worked as a lawmaker and human rights lawyer. Jang Il-joon wants to overcome the conflicts in Korea between ideologies, social class, and unify the different regions.
It seems that many members of Super Junior are going into acting lately. Are you excited to watch Sungmin’s drama? Do you think he will be a good actor?
